Risk Assesment - Ideas and plans

In todays lesson me and dana took into consideration the things in which we were told during the talk we were given about Health and Safety in the college grounds and the risks that could come along side many problems.

Within our script its been shown that there are at least three different obstacles that we needed to sort out so we decided that we would do something about these and take a trip to see Gary the site manager.

While we went and saw him we spoke about the issues that would be caused about the bikes giving the risks of being in the way for certain scenes not juts because they'd make a mess but because theres the risks of tripping and them falling onto actors or being knocked and then damaged.

The outcome of talking about the bikes came to the conclusion that if they're parked there and are able to be moved that we can move them if not then we'll have to make do with this.

The next thing we spoke to Gary about was the ground below the area which we need to use for the Fallback scene and another thats the running scene, this was just a simple "clean the area up" answer.
So me and dana we round the woods and the area to see what there was wrong and the things we need to help to keep anything from glass, sticks, logs and litter out the way so they dont cause any dangerous
hazards to us.
In consideration to the fall back scene, we went to the sports centre and spoke to staff there about using a crash mat for the fall back scene, but the outcome was that the crash mats are unable to be taken outside due to the fact that they're wearing out and are easily damaged.
SO...we've decided that for the fall back, the back doors to the sports centre will be blocked of around the time of 15:00 or an earlier time so that we can use the crash mat still but, we will have to see how the turns out as we will have to include a lot of rotoscoping and green screening.
