Productions meeting 14th January.

Present: Charlotte (me) & Dana
Time:09:30
Reason: discussion of filming actors and risk assessments.
Adding of extras.

We decided that that we're going to try and improvise on the basis of having a head camera to seeing what it's like using the camera as a hand held one and jogging at a steady pace for the filming of the running scene, and to speed up the footage after. But to use several different cameras/phones to do this for the different shots of Jay and Blake .
For the phone filming, we need to make sure that we swap from the front facing and back now and then to give more of a raw effect of footage, for both face shots and film shots.
And also to give more of a night effect to improvise on creating a filter using a tinted peice of clear film to do this.

Also within this we're going to change it to a group adventure type filming scene, with the camera being passed about the groups of friends at different times.

However were also going to film from the view point of the "creature" to give it more of a mythical effect. For the creature we also have decided that we're going to have someone standing there when editing to make into a silhouette and give more of an emphasis on the red eyes.

We spoke to Dave about the usage of raw footage via the mobile phones to be included within our filming to create more of a group horror clip. This was clarified as okay to do.

For the other male actor were needing to ask if anyone in our media class would be willing to help is out with this, and to play the part. But also we would like to do an audition for this to see who fits the role the most.

Risk assessments: in this criteria after the talk we had this morning we've decided that we're going to need to talk to Gary about the process of the tree climbing and the bikes in the area of the woods that we're using to shoot. Because there's the risks of the trees being unsafe while filimng due to the weather being really dampened and wet, so we need to be aware of the risks within this. And as for the bikes we will be needing to see if they're going to cause a great problem of people bumping into.
